HiWhiteboard — fact sheet Updated: 2026-10-14 Website: https://hiwhiteboard.com/ What it is HiWhiteboard is a free website with two browser tools: a free-form online whiteboard and a Kanban board with real cards and columns. Six ready-to-use templates (Kanban board, personal Kanban, classroom whiteboard, retrospective, SWOT analysis, flowchart) open as editable copies. Key facts - No account or sign-up. Tools open with one click. - Single editor: boards are saved in the browser on the device where they were made (IndexedDB). They are not uploaded or synced. - Editable backups: drawings export as .excalidraw files and Kanban boards as .hiwhiteboard.json files; both can be imported again as new boards. - Images for viewing: PNG and SVG for drawings; PNG pages and a browser print view for Kanban boards. - Kanban cards have a title, description, label, priority, and due date; columns can have work-in-progress (WIP) limits that show a warning. - No real-time collaboration, shared board links, team workspaces, comments, notifications, or cloud recovery. - The drawing canvas is built on the open-source Excalidraw editor (MIT License). HiWhiteboard is independent and not affiliated with Excalidraw. Contact A public contact address has not been set up yet. It will be listed at https://hiwhiteboard.com/contact/ when available.
